Meta acquires AI audio startup WaveForms

MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUG 8 – Meta acquired WaveForms AI, founded in December 2024 with $40 million funding, to boost voice AI that detects and mimics emotions as part of its Superintelligence Labs expansion.
