Mesa respite center opening for homeless patients

The nonprofit says the center will nearly double its medical respite capacity in Maricopa County and help patients recover with 24-hour care and housing support.

People experiencing homelessness who are discharged from East Valley hospitals but remain too sick or injured to recover on the streets will soon have another place to go.
