- On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Mercedes-Benz announced a recall of 24,092 vehicles, including various 2018 through 2020 models, due to a drive shaft universal joint defect.
- According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the drive shaft universal joint may break unexpectedly, causing a sudden loss of drive power that increases crash risk.
