After two years of construction, the center occupies a plot of 440,000 square meters - equivalent to 60 football fields- with a built area of 120,000 square meters, and is called to become "the lung" of the distribution of Mercadona in Portugal. Its location, Almeirim, responds to a "extremely central" location with good access infrastructures for the transport of goods and from where you can reach the whole country.
In the construction of this logistics block, located in Almeirim and which is to date the largest logistics centre in the chain, more than 700 companies have participated during the construction phase.
