Charlotte's women claimed second place, just edged out by No. 30 Wake Forest at McAlpine Creek Park.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Augusta women's cross country team turned in a strong performance at the Queen City Invitational on Friday morning, placing ninth overall in the 5K with 258 points and finishing as the second-highest Division II program in the field.
