MEC volleyball quarterfinals: UC rallies to top Wheeling, WVSU knocks out Fairmont

BUCKHANNON – The University of Charleston rallied from two sets down against Wheeling by sweeping the final three frames on Thursday to advance to the Mountain East Conference volleyball tournament semifinals.

Golden Eagles Fight Back for Historic Reverse Sweep over Wheeling

Buckhannon, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles opened the MEC Tournament with a statement win, storming back from a 2–0 deficit to complete a reverse sweep over Wheeling and end the Cardinals' 11-year streak of reaching the MEC final. Charleston took the match 3–2 to advance to the semifinals.
