HEBRON, Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has announced the posted speed limit on US 50 (Ocean Gateway) at the Old Railroad Road intersection work zone in Hebron will reduce from 55 miles per hour (mph) to 45 mph starting Thursday, Apr. 16. MDOT to Temporarily Reduce Route 50 Speed Limit in Hebron Work Zone
Beginning Thursday, April 16 the speed limit on Route 50 at the Old Railroad Road intersection work zone area in Hebron will be lowered from 55 to 45. This is being done to enhance work zone safety of the just under 2-mile section of roadway where intersection safety improvements are underway. Signage will be in place as well. The speed limit will return to 55 when the project is completed.
