Water levels begin to stabilize on Ottawa River in national capital region

Water levels have started to stabilize along the Ottawa River through the national capital region, with flood waters expected to recede this week.

Officials in McNab Braeside are keeping a close eye on the Ottawa River, as they were expecting to reach peak level by Wednesday. There is flooding in Rhoddy’s Bay, centered around Archibald Street, as well as Aikenhead & Leckie Lane off of Storie Road in Braeside.
