It’s McHappy Day in Simcoe today, with local McDonald’s restaurants raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities and Simcoe Special Olympians. Owner-operator Ellen Carew says a portion of every menu item sold today will help support families with sick children who need to travel for hospital care and accommodation. CFJC Midday – McHappy Day funds staying local and supporting Ronald McDonald House Family Room at RIH
Brandy Gozda-Sekhon, Kamloops & Merritt McDonald’s Owner/Operator, encourages everyone to stop by the local restaurants on May 6th to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Royal Inland Hospital. Since opening, the Family room as already provided a welcoming refuge for a thousand families with children admitted for treatment.
