Mayfield Heights woman caught up in scam believing she could meet famous musician

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A woman reported March 10 that she got caught up in a scam that began last May and had cost her approximately $1,000.She said that she began messaging with a well know jazz musician on Instagram and was invited to join his fan club in which she had to pay various fees to keep her membership. She was promised a chance to be meet the musician.
