May 1st : Marine Tondelier apologizes after ambiguous remarks about Jérôme Guedj

Socialist activists, including the deputy Jérôme Guedj, were insulted, and for some attacked, during the Paris demonstration on 1 May. When asked about a form of anti-Semitism, Marine Tondelier had initially not answered.

Questioned Thursday evening on RTL about whether the capture of Jérome Guedj, of Jewish faith, during the 1st May demonstration in Paris was a far-left anti-Semitism, Marine Tondelier was said to be "compressed" to respond.

The National Secretary of Ecology recognized Friday "that there was an extreme left anti-Semitism".
