Anthony Lewis (March 27, 1927 – March 25, 2013) was an American public intellectual and journalist. He was a two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize and was a columnist for The New York Times.

He fled from Germany before the Holocaust, became "New York Times" editor-in-chief and won the Pulitzer Prize. A few days ago, the native Geraer Max Frankel died in Manhattan. He became 94 years old.
