IRUMU AREA, EASTERN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, JUL 12 – The Allied Democratic Forces killed 66 civilians in retaliation for a joint Congolese-Ugandan bombing campaign, according to the United Nations spokesperson.
- Militants linked to the Islamic State group, namely the Allied Democratic Forces , were responsible for the deaths of 66 civilians in the Irumu region of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday.
