Mason City community protests potential rezoning

There was standing room only at the Mason City City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 3. Most attendees were there to hear and speak on the subject of a rezoning a southwest area of Mason City. Some residents are concerned this could make way for a data center to be built. The area being rezoned involves several parcels roughly south of the IOOF Home on 19th St. SW and east of South Pierce.
