As the holiday season approaches, local organizations in Socorro are stepping up to ensure families in need experience the warmth and joy of giving. From Christmas gifts to Thanksgiving meals, several initiatives are underway to support residents across the county.

Marshall Athletics Teams With ‘Hoops Holiday Giving Express’

Marshall Athletics is teaming with Hoops Family Children's Hospital for the 'Hoops Holiday Giving Express' in 2025. Now through Nov. 29, those who donate a new, unwrapped toy to the drive at a specified Marshall location can receive one (1) free ticket to the Nov. 29 Marshall Football contest against Georgia Southern, courtesy of head coach Tony Gibson.
