The dollar continued to be negotiated under R$5 on Tuesday (6), one day after the strong reaction of the markets to the result of the first round of elections. By 15:10, the US currency dropped 0.46%, quoted at R$4,978, after reaching R$4,944 during the pregão. On Monday (5), the dollar had recorded a decrease of 4.12%.

The Brazilian financial market had a day of adjustment this Tuesday (6), after the euphoria on the eve. The dollar fell to about R$ 4.97, lower level in almost five months, while the Ibovespa fell slightly more than 0.5%, but remained above the 200,000 points.
