US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed, today, with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Čoiu, in order to thank Romania for being "a real partner, offering immediate and firm support to US operations aimed at promoting security in the Middle East". They also analysed the extension of bilateral cooperation in defence, energy, emerging technologies and critical minerals.
According to a statement from the US State Department, the American official appreciated Romania's "quick and decisive" reaction, underlining its role as a trusted partner of the United States.
