Team Tudor cyclist Marco Brenner is the winner of the Tour of Poland. The 23-year-old German achieved the greatest success of his career without a stage win and with a seventh place on the final day in the individual time trial.
The Swiss cycling team Tudor Pro Cycling had two reasons to rejoice on the last day of the Polish tour.
Switzerland's Stefan Küng won the final stage of the Tour of Poland, while his German team-mate Marco Brenner won the general standings on Sunday for a box full of the Tudor team.
In the general classification, Brenner was 10 seconds ahead of New Zealander Finn Fisher-Black (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) and 16 seconds ahead of Spaniard Ivan Romeo (Movistar). In the 12.5 km time trial, Brenner finished seventh, 11 seconds behind Kueng. The stage winner cried tears of joy.
