Manor department stores are focusing their food offerings solely on the Latin regions of the country, to the detriment of German-speaking Switzerland. The parent company plans to gradually hand over its sites in Rapperswil, Emmen, and Basel to Coop between 2026 and 2027.

With its food supermarkets, the department store chain intends to focus on Western Switzerland and Ticino in the future. Three offshoots in German Switzerland are to go to Coop.
