From 1 November, the Law Montagne II applies again in 34 French departments. From La Savoie to Vaucluse, via the south of Isère or the Diois, the Vosges or the Hautes-Pyrénées, some municipalities must impose winter tyres or anti-slip devices. Vehicles travelling in the Alps, Jura, the Central Massif, the Pyrenees and the Vosges must be equipped with winter tires or have chains or socks. This law applies until 31st March.
