Man slashed apparently intoxicated intruder with a kitchen knife in N.J. apartment, cops say

A resident of an apartment restrained a drunken intruder and injured him with a kitchen knife early Monday morning. Officers from the New Milford Police Department were called to an apartment on Fuller Drive at 3:34 a.m. When police entered the unit, they found the resident restraining a man on the kitchen floor, police said.
