Man shot, injured in Lynnwood
Motive unknown as investigators seek public tips regarding a shooting that left a 34-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries.
On Tuesday, a 34-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting near the intersection of 200th Street Southwest and 66th Place West in Lynnwood, Wash.
The Lynnwood Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 7:45 p.m. near Gold Park, closing the roadway for several hours to process the scene.
Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, while authorities report the suspect or suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances behind the gunfire as the case remains under active investigation.
