2 rescued from burning garage in Saskatoon's Forest Grove neighbourhood

Firefighters in Saskatoon rescued two people from a burning garage early Saturday morning. Crews were called to a home on 1500 Block Forest Drive in the Forest Grove neighbourhood at around 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from an attached garage.

The 38-year-old driver of a Skoda that crashed in the southern Pilsen region can speak of great luck. The car he drove off the road caught fire immediately after the accident. The driver and his passenger managed to get out.
