SAN JUAN – Two men pleaded guilty in separate cases for introducing and distributing adulterated medicines for animals that were not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. District Attorney for Puerto Rico, W. Stephen Muldrow, said Wednesday. “These substances are not approved for veterinary use in the U.S. and represent significant risks to public health,” Muldrow said in written statements.
A 50-year-old man, identified as Adrián García Hernández, pleaded guilty on Tuesday for introducing adulterated veterinary drugs in Puerto Rico, announced Wednesday W.
