- Shortly after the reported gunshot, Mounties were called to a residence in the 2300-block of Quilchena Avenue, where they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound who had entered seeking help.
- Emergency responders transported the injured man to Nicola Valley Hospital for treatment, where medical staff confirmed he sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the shooting.
- Police are now appealing for the public's assistance, asking residents and business owners near Quilchena Avenue and Charters Street to review security-camera footage for suspicious activity.
