Man in stable condition after London shooting, police say
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two were hospitalized, including one with a gunshot wound now in stable condition, police said.
- On Sunday, police responded to reports of a shooting on Broadway in Bexleyheath at around 02:15hrs, the Metropolitan Police said.
- London Ambulance Service said it dispatched ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance also attended.
- Paramedics treated two people at the scene and both were taken to hospital after the shooting in southeast London.
- A 30-year-old man treated for a gunshot wound was taken to hospital and the force said on Monday he is in stable condition.
- Officers arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene, and the A207 Albion Road was closed both ways between Broadway and Oaklands with eight bus routes diverted.
