At around 1 p.m. on the 18th, a man in his 70s was found lying unconscious in his home in Saigo-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, bleeding from his head and face. According to the Izumo Police Station, he was transported to the hospital but remains unconscious. Police officers discovered his eldest son, in his 40s, dead in a separate building on the property.
