The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Tuesday, July 28, which resulted in one fatality. At 3:50 p.m., Joseph Burchfield, 42, was driving a 1998 International semi-truck on MS-43. While driving, the vehicle ran off the highway and overturned. Upon their arrival, the Mississippi Highway Patrol pronounced Burchfield dead at the scene.
