Cicero police are investigating an incident where they found a dead man shot while firefighters were trying to put out a fire in a home. Authorities say they received a report of a fire on the 1800 block of 51st Avenue at around 9:15 p.m. on Monday after Cicero spokesmen commented that there was an explosion inside a unit on a three-story property. After the fire was shut down, fire teams reported finding a man’s body.
