CANYON CITY – A man will spend time on probation following conviction in Grant County Circuit Court of criminal mischief and water-related charges. Grant Kevin Winegar, 65, was found guilty by a jury for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree and Interfering with a Headgate or Using Water Denied, both committed in May of 2023. Winegar was sentenced to 24 months on Bench Probation with special conditions to include 80 hours of community service. …
