Man City chairman will 'say everything' after verdict on financial charges
Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Mubarak confirmed he will address the financial charges against the club once a verdict is delivered, stating, "I'll say everything I've wanted to say for the last three years."
City faces 54 allegations of failing to provide accurate financial information from 2009/10 and 14 alleged breaches regarding player and manager remuneration records across the same timeframe.
Defending the club, Khaldoon insisted that Sheikh Mansour has no intention to sell, valuing the business at a minimum of $10 billion; the club has not taken profit out in 18 years.
Sports lawyer Tom Murray suggested last month that resolution could be delayed, with barristers uncertain when the decision releases; Murray believes the club are likely to be found guilty of at least some charges.
The Manchester club maintains its innocence throughout the Premier League's investigation, which examined the club's financial reporting and failure to cooperate with enquiries since the hearing in 2024.
