Man Charged with Murder of 21-Year-Old at Primrose Hill Appears in Court
Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, pleaded not guilty to the murder of the 21-year-old during his initial court appearance and was remanded in custody.
- On Monday, Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, appeared at Stratford Magistrates Court charged with murdering filmmaking student Finbar Sullivan, 21, who died following a stabbing at Primrose Hill last week.
- Christopher Sullivan, 65, told the Daily Mail his son had gone to the viewpoint to use a new camera received for his birthday when the alleged attack occurred on Tuesday evening.
- Sullivan described his son as 'the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy' with aspirations to follow his grandfather, cameraman Michael Seresin, who worked on Harry Potter And The Prisoner and Rambo III.
- During the two-minute hearing, Ogunyankinnu told the court, 'I didn't kill anybody, I didn't stab anybody,' claiming officers 'have the wrong person.' District Judge Ashwinder Gill remanded him into custody.
- Ogunyankinnu will appear at the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday after District Judge Gill deemed the case too serious for magistrates court. Police released a 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender with no further action.
