MARTINEZ, CA — A 36-year-old man accused of killing a Martinez homeowner during a burglary has been charged with murder, Contra Costa County prosecutors said. Todd Stewart, 68, was stabbed outside his home on Aug. 6 and died at the scene, police said. Investigators said the attack was captured on video surveillance.
