Man Accused of Recording Under Girl’s Skirt During Concert at Xfinity Center in Mansfield
Police say a witness alerted security, leading to the arrest of Brandon Cora, who faces child exploitation charges and was booked after evidence was gathered.
On Friday, police arrested Brandon Cora, 27, of Middleborough, at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield after he allegedly used a cellphone to record beneath a 13-year-old girl's skirt during a concert.
A witness alerted security during the Southern Hospitality Tour, and Mansfield Police were notified shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, prompting officers to immediately identify and apprehend Cora.
After transporting Cora to the Mansfield Police Department, Mansfield Police Chief Ronald Sellon condemned the "invasive and disturbing behavior," thanking the witness and family for their swift actions.
Cora faces a charge of photographing sexual or intimate parts of a child and was expected to be arraigned Monday in Attleborough District Court, according to authorities.
During his post-arrest interview, Cora admitted to police he records people "somewhat regularly," citing a similar incident a few weeks ago at a Target store.
