21-Year-Old Man Dead After Stabbing in Hamilton, Police Say
Police say the 21-year-old was found by a taxi driver and later pronounced dead, and investigators are treating the case as a homicide.
Hamilton Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man as a homicide after he suffered fatal stab wounds early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the area of Main Street West and Frid Street at 2:30 a.m. after a taxi driver discovered the injured man with stab wounds.
Investigators believe the victim was involved in an altercation near King Street West and Paradise Road North on Saturday evening before the fatal incident.
The man was transported to a Hamilton hospital where medical staff subsequently pronounced him dead following the stabbing.
Police are requesting anyone with dash-camera or surveillance footage from the area between 2:00 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. to contact them with information.
