Nineteen injured after bus overturns in crash near roundabout
All passengers were safely removed and given care as police closed the road and emergency crews responded to the overturned bus.
On Tuesday, a bus crash on the A484 in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, prompted a major incident declaration, with at least 26 people injured near the Kidwelly Roundabout.
The X11 bus swerved off the road to avoid a car overtaking a cyclist, subsequently flipping down a steep bank at approximately 12:20 BST.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed all passengers were "safely removed" and received "appropriate care", supported by two air ambulances and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews.
The Hywel Dda Health Board stated emergency departments are busy with longer wait times expected, while authorities established a rest centre at the John Burns Centre as the road remains closed.
Dame Nia Griffith, MP for Llanelli which includes Kidwelly, said "my immediate thoughts are with all those people involved in the crash", as officials expect significant disruption for days.
