A night out in Knokke-Heist turned into a major search operation at sea on Saturday morning. When a group of teenagers were heading home, one of them thought he saw a drowning person in the sea off Duinbergen. The young man, an adult from Ghent, jumped into the water himself and was eventually taken to hospital. He turned out to be under the influence.
