Maersk Introduces Peak Season Surcharge on Far East Asia–India and Nepal Shipments - India Seatrade News

Maersk will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on shipments from several Far East Asian markets to India and Nepal, covering cargo destined for Visakhapatnam and Kattupalli in India, as well as Nepal. The surcharge will take effect from 26 August 2026 for most origins, while shipments originating in South Korea will be subject to the PSS from 29 August 2026.
