No Filipino victim reported in Nepal disaster
MANILA, Philippines — No Filipino victim was reported in the disaster that struck the border of Nepal and China on Thursday, Malacanang said, quoting the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro was referring to the glacial collapse along the border of Nepal and China that resulted in massive falsh floods, leaving over 100 people dead and 1,000 missing as of posting time.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) announces Wednesday that the authorities in Nepal have not yet transmitted information about Romanian citizens affected by the devastating oil spill produced near the border with China. At the same time, the Romanian Embassy in New Delhi has not received any requests for consular assistance from Romanians in the area.
