Montrealers condemn and celebrate removal of Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro in separate rallies
Two separate rallies were held in Montreal on Sunday following the forceful removal of Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro. One protest denounced what it described as the United States’ “imperialist” behaviour and the other one saw Venezuelans celebrating Maduro's ouster.
A demonstration against US imperialism was held on Sunday in front of the US Consulate in Montreal.
