María Corina's gratitude to Latin American countries
Opposition leader María Corina Machado thanked the support of six Latin American governments that, during the last Mercosur summit, demanded the restoration of democratic order in Venezuela. In a joint statement, Argentina, Paraguay, Panama, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru demanded the release of political prisoners from the regime of Nicolás Maduro and the cessation of arbitrary detentions.
