LYNCHBURG — Centra announced Monday that it would be restructuring its workforce and due to that, 90 individuals will be laid off, equaling 1 percent of its total workforce.

The Lynchburg-based healthcare system Centra said Monday that it will lay off 90 employees, or about 1% of its total workforce, effective this week.  Of those 90, about 35 will be given opportunities to fill open positions at Centra.
