Luzerne County woman cited for popping neighbor’s errant birthday gift football

FREELAND – A boy’s football crossed over into a neighbor’s yard in Freeland earlier this month. State troopers say, instead of returning it, the neighbor popped it and threw it away. She’s facing charges. Marianne Quinn, 58, of Freeland, was cited for summary criminal mischief.
