Lululemon Names Brand, Strategy Chiefs in Latest Executive Shakeup
Heidi O'Neill is building a turnaround team as the retailer still seeks a chief technology officer and chief communications officer.
Lululemon Athletica Inc. chief executive Heidi O'Neill appointed Ben Hallam as chief brand officer and Emily Sunderland as chief strategy officer on Friday to bolster her leadership team.
O'Neill joined the firm in September to address sagging stock prices and increasing competition as the Vancouver-based company faced a struggling business requiring leadership revamp.
Hallam joins on Monday from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as senior vice president of marketing, while Sunderland, formerly of Boston Consulting Group, begins her role November 23.
O'Neill has assembled a senior team including Maggie Gauger, president and chief product officer, and Joseph Godsey, chief operating officer, designed to strengthen the company's competitive position.
Lululemon continues its search for a chief technology officer and a chief communications officer to complete the leadership restructuring as the company pursues its turnaround strategy.
