Fazenda's minister, Fernando Haddad (PT), said on this Thursday (20) that the bill which exempts payment of the Rent Tax which is received up to R$ 5 thousand will be punished by President Lula next week. “From 1 January it will be approved – and will be punished next week – that [who wins] up to R$ 5 thousand, no one will pay Rent Tax in this country”, Haddad said during the opening of the Car Room.
