The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, thanked the Western countries for building fences on the border with the Republic, and said that if there was any aggression, those structures would have to be overcome by the attacking party itself.
"Do not make excuses to anyone, thank them, as a military man to you - military men. Thank them for building this fence. In case of aggression on their part (and if it happens, it can only be on their side, it will not be on our side), they will have to overcome the fence. This is for our benefit," said the Belarusian leader.
Alexander Lukashenka, at today's meeting on the basis of an audit of the 7th separate special militia brigade of the internal forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, decided to make a strategic advantage of the fences that the EU neighbouring countries had isolated themselves from Belarus in order to prevent migrants who violated the border.
