Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has clearly stated that he trusts in Russia's solid support and is confident that Moscow will not abandon Belarus even in the most difficult times.
Lukashenko explained why Belarus will not send troops to Ukraine Alexander Lukashenko said that Putin did not ask Belarus for military assistance because it would create more problems. He noted that Belarus has a long border with Ukraine, which would be difficult to control.
Belarus is preparing for war every day to avoid it, Alexander Lukashenko told Time magazine. "Our concept is based on the fact that we are ready to inflict unimaginable damage on Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia—anyone who fights with us," the Belarusian dictator added. During the conversation, he also addressed a possible Russian attack on Poland and the Baltic states.
