German airline Lufthansa more than doubled its profit in the second quarter of 2025 despite recent trade tensions. In April, the company warned of increased uncertainty due to trade tensions between the United States and Europe. Besides the airline of the same name, Lufthansa also includes subsidiary brands Eurowings, Austrian Airlines, Swiss Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.
