The Lafayette Parish School Board will discuss the possible closure of Ovey Comeaux High School at the end of the 2025-2026 Academic School Year, with the facility being repurposed for the W.D. & Mary Baker Smith Career Center and E.J. Sam Accelerated School, and the existing sports facilities being used to create a centralized sports complex.
