Lower Merion Township votes to increase property taxes 6.5 percent

LOWER MERION – After a decade with no increases, Lower Merion residents will see a hike in their township property taxes in 2025. The Lower Merion Board of Commissioners voted to add a 6.5% tax increase as part of the 2025 budget. Originally, a tax increase to 4.40 mills was recommended by the township staff.
